Carousel Buses Volvo B7TL East Lancs Myllennium EVL4
After the Go-Ahead takeover Carousel acquired a number of former London Volvo B7TL doubledeckers from London General's EVL designated buses with bodywork by East Lancs. An unidentified EVL, newly arrived in May 2009, is waiting to perform an A40 run from Wycombe to Heathrow Airport. The bus, EVL4 (PN02XCT), has had little visually done to it since arrival from London General, where it was EVL36, beyond appropriate blinds and a Carousel logo on the front dash.

In July 2009 EVL9 was receiving first aid in Frogmoor, High Wycombe, having succumbed to the heatwave, perhaps? Or maybe it was manifesting whatever it was that led London General to dispose of the vehicles prematurely. Though Carousel used the same class prefix as London General (EVL) the fleetnumbers did not match the London ones. This may have been EVL9's swan song as no trace can be found of it online, unlike the other EVL buses received and with its registration partially obscured by the Nissan rescue van, T228DLW, its London identity remains a mystery. The EVL9 fleetnumber on the bus is not a London leftover, that bus was registered PL51LGN and became an open top City Sightseeing bus in Llandudno with Alpine Travel.

Carousel EVL7 (PN02XCS) threads its way through the coach traffic at the top of Marlow Hill in Wycombe as three schools - two grammars and a catholic - turn out and a huge school transport operation swings into action. The bus was EVL32 with London General.

Carousel EVL6, London General EVL26 (PN02XCK), on a sunny June day in 2006 returns along the A40 into High Wycombe after completing a clockwise circular trip to Stokenchurch on the 2C. Anticlockwise trips were numbered 2A, but the service ceased when Go-Ahead acquired the company.
