Carousel 930 (R270LGH) arrives at the Marlow Hill Schools to collect its load of homeward bound students in June 2012. It was London Central NV70. |
In 2006 Carousel took the opportunity to modernise its doubledeck fleet with the purchase of some of the first Dennis Tridents to appear on the secondhand market. They acquired some of the ex Metrobus East Lancs bodied examples ousted from service in London by new Scania deckers. This example, 403 (T403SMV), first saw service with Carousel in its original owners blue and yellow colours. It is seen here in Marlow in June.

Ex Metrobus 402 (T402SMV) is seen climbing the hill from Marlow on a school run in the summer of its first year. Though painted in Carousel livery, it was without decals. |

More Tridents joined the fleet in 2014, this time with Alexander ALX400 bodies from the parent Oxford Bus Co. However, enjoying its last summer, Trident 101 (VAZ9101) is seen in Wycombe Bus Station in June 2016. The impending disability access legislation meant that these low floor easy access doubledeckers would no longer comply with the legislation.
