Arriving in Oxford for the Brookes University summer ball service is LIL7230, the ex Eastern National coach seated long wheelbase Olympian owned by Motts Travel of Aylesbury.
|
An interesting collection in the Stoke Mandeville yard. Nearest the camera is the Leopard with Bustler bodywork, OWG368X, then long wheelbase Olympian 'LIL'. The the rare site of then both modern Plaxton coaches together, Dennis Javelin M575RJM and Volvo B7R T7MTT. |
Acquired from Brentwood Coaches, the ECW coach bodied Olympian had a bus front grafted on to the front end at one time in its life. It was new to Eastern National as part of the batch 4500-4509 (B688-697BPU) and is believed to have been 4500. Prior to Brentwood Coaches the vehicle had seen service with Metrobus.

The Olympian coach replaced Motts last DMS and was the first decker to acquire the new style fleetname (forward between decks) but no other vinyls as seen at the top of the page.
