Seen together at the Red Lion Hotel in Whittlesford the night before Millennium Showbus is irregular visitor, Motts coach seated MCW Metrobus F766EKM, alongside regular visitor, Northumbria Van Hool bodied DAF SB3000 141 (V141EJR) on the overnight layover from a Newcastle - Cambridge service.

The Metrobus has been popular in the Motts fleet since the South Yorkshire fleet bought for Yellow Bus operations. Following on from the coach seated East Kent examples, in 2006 ex Travel West Midlands 2991 (F991XOE) arrived. It is seen here on school duties in Aylesbury in the summer of that year. |

In 2005 Motts moved into brand new purpose built premises on Stocklake, near the centre of Aylesbury. This enabled them to close depots at Kingswood, Stone and Stoke Mandeville. The well laid out new facility has marked parking bays. Sandwiched in a line up of Tigers here in July are former Boroline Optare Olympian "OMD" and a pair of the ex East Kent Metrobuses. |
