For a number of years Harlow has been a hotbed of competition for local bus services. Incumbent operator, Arriva - one of their Darts is departing in the background - transferred the operation to fellow sunbsidiary Tellings Golden Miller expected to be more fleet of foot. The operation was rebranded Network Harlow with a blue livery, largely applied to the vehicles that were deployed in the town before. So this Wright bodied Volvo B6BLE, not the most loved small bus, seen heading for the Bus Station in August 2012, still carries its old fleet number, 3254 (V254HBH). In 2015 changes at a higher level shifted the ball game yet again with the operations leaving TGM's hands, the Arriva name and livery reappearing and the control passing to what is effectively the Arriva incarnation of Maidstone & District. |
