 Amongst the many Red Rose buses at SHOWBUS was former Bournemouth HJ02HFFD resting in the Showground between bouts on the St Albans service. With the fuel crisis in full swing Red Rose swapped vehicles around between the servic and the display to avoid anyone running out of fuel!

 In this depot view in August 2021 two ex London United East Lancs bodied Volvo B7TL buses, former VLE21 (PA04CYC) and VLE18 (PG04WHX) flank former London Central PVL95. The Plaxton President bodied Volvo is partially in the red and gold Bicester express livery with that lettering removed whereas PA04CYC has arrived in dealer white and PG04WHX has gained the yellow based livery.

 In Aylesbury Bus Station later that year in November PA04CYC has gained the red based Red Rose livery. It is waiting mid afternoon with recently acquired ex Metroline Alexander Dennis Enviro400 TE895 (LK08NVL), the two roared out of the Bus Station later to undertake school runs.
