 Occasionally second hand singledeck buses were purchased and this archive picture of 8 (EPH189B) is seen on Bicester Road not long after the bus had been acquired from Safeguard Coaches in Guildford. Whilst the companies had similar liveries 8 was repainted in Red Rover's "Sunset Red" and the "Highway Yellow" was extended to the roof, whereas it had been red in Guildford. The bus is heading on route 15 to Calvert, known for the London Brick Company works near the village. It left the fleet on arrival of the Caetanos. |
