Red Rover AEC Renown Weymann 124
This is thought to be 124 (DAU383C) - former Nottingham 372 - heading for Aylesbury at Waddesdon Cross Roads. Unfortunately though the Renown was developed as a non integral lowheight decker, replacing AEC's Bridgemaster built with Park Royal, Nottingham chose to take advantage of the construction to fit full height bodies which were thus very spacious with plenty of headroom, as well as being easy to board. However it did mean that the Renowns could not make it under the low bridges to Bicester.

Initially there were only three Renowns, 127 and 128 arriving later in 1977. Here 123 is on the extreme left, almost out of shot with 125 (DAU372C) alongside. The lowheight vehicle is 107 (27WKX), the Park Royal lowheight AEC Bridgemaster bought new in 1962. Next is Renown 124 and finally ex Devon General Metro-Cammell bodied AEC Regent V 109 (ROD765).

Another yard view, but with the buses facing the other way with their backs to Middle Garage as the maintenance shed was referred to. On the left is 127 (DAU358C).

Here the bus is seen on the Elmhurst Estate town service, but blinds ready for its next run to Waddesdon.

Having just passed the company offices in Buckingham Street the bus is either about to do a St Peters Avenue Quarrendon town service or returning from run. Note it has acquired some in house advertising.
