 VR 928 (LBL587L) was one of the trio of Mark 2 VRs delivered new to Alder Valley. They were the first Mark 2 VRs for the company and the first delivered in the new NBC livery. The bus was the one displayed at the forerunner of SHOWBUS, the Brunel University Festival in 1973. It is seen here later in life as an all over advert for Ford dealer Maidenhead Autos. |

ALDER VALLEY |
 Preserved VRTSL3 601 (CJH114V) was exhibited at the 2011 London Bus Preservation Group rally at Dunsfold, the one time home of Top Gear, in Surrey. |

 The bus was seen the following year at North Weald passing the Ensignbus MCW Metrobus, 233 (KYV633X), often used as the SHOWBUS Control Bus. |

 VR 601 was still looking in excellent condition when seen at the 2015 Alton Bus Rally.
