First Alexander bodied Olympian
At the end of September 2001, individual fleetnames were already removed from this First vehicle in London. The Alexander RH bodied Volvo Olympian, bought new by Capital Citybus, and still displaying the Citybus 'C' logos either side of the destination blind and original Citybus central London livery, is otherwise branded simply 'First'. The bus is negotiating Trafalger Square.

Northern Counties bodied Volvo Olympian - First Capital
By the end of October the majority of London vehicles were solely First branded. Former Capital branded 168 (L888TTT), a Northern Counties Palatine 2 bodied Volvo Olympian seen in Leyton hints at the problem we now have matching vehicle and registration numbers. The Hong Kong owners of 1993 believe the number 8 to be lucky and had a number of new deliveries with '888' registrations, perhaps the buses of 2038 will all be lucky when all new buses registered between March and August all get 88 in their registrations!
First

Newer, but with the earlier style of Northern Counties body is 207 (S207LLO) it is seen here at Euston Station in October 2003, working its 91 route in conjunction with Dennis Tridents. Note the "Arriv" ALX400 bodied Volvo alongside.
First
230 (P230MPU) is another Capital Citybus purchase and is still in the London red version of their livery, like the buses above. Another October 2003 view as the bus comes off a wet Waterloo Bridge on the 341 about to go round the Aldwych.
First
343 (P232MPU) is looking a little tired and some distance from home. It is on tube line replacement work at Heathrow Airport in April 2004.
