London General Volvo B7TL East Lancs Myllennium
East Lancs bodied doubledeckers in service with a former constituent of London Transport created a stir. Go-Ahead was of course no stranger to East Lancs bodies, having several Lolynes in service on Dennis Trident chassis in Brighton and the North East. These Volvo B7TLs sport the Myllennium styling taken from the singledeck bodywork - and already seen in London on the DAFs used on the Millennium Dome - Greenwich service along the guided busway, which had about the same degree of success as the Dome itself! With adverts for the film "Queen of the Damned" it is perhaps appropriate that London General has classified them as EViL! Arriving at Putney Bridge Station when still new is EVL24 (PN02XCH).
