Having succeeded in painting all the London buses red for whatever political purpose, WVL148 (LX53AYZ) received this spectacular orange livery to advertise the Lion King musical in 2004.

Less spectacular, but with equal contrast was WVL149 (LX53BJK) in this black scheme for the English National Opera. The bus later received a red based scheme for the NSPCC.

WVL148 (LX53AYW) is seen in Summer 2007 as an advert for London schools - its livery appears to be an example of student art.

Hybrid technology for route 24 in the shape of Wright bodied WHD1 (LX58CWJ), seen in October 2010.

Hybrids also came from the Alexander Dennis stable. EH3 (LX58DDL) is seen on layover in Pimlico in March 2011 in the same leafy scheme as WHD1.
