Bearing the registration of a former Routemaster, this is one of a number of Volvo B10M (or D10M?) doubledeckers with Northern Counties bodywork bought at the end of LT's days - it is seen at Liverpool Street Station. VC18 carries registration WLT818 transferred from RM818. Several buses of the batch of the 39 VC class acquired Routemaster registrations.

VC16 (G116NGN) is seen early in its life in the London General livery that reintroduced the name to the capital's streets.

RML2590 (JJD590D) still displays the old London General fleetnames on its rear, but the new ones on the nearside. It is seen just off Trafalgar Square.

RML2363 (CUV363C) is seen at Liverpool Street Station in rush hour on a wet evening in October 2003. Note the prominent route branding on front and sides, a feature that disappeared from London along with the Routemasters, despite route branding becoming endemic across fleets in the rest of the country.

Completing the set of open top General liveried buses is RML2318 (CUV318C) seen in use as a support vehicle on Madeira Parade at the HCVC London-Brighton run in May 2007.
