London General introduced smart Northern Counties Palatine II bodied Volvo Olympians to the 74 from Roehampton to Central London. NV174 (R374LGH) is resting here in Euston Road and displays the attractive livery layout well. The route and buses gained a new reputation as the Jill Dando route following the police investigations into the man with the mobile phone who left the BBC newsreader's murder scene by 74 bus.

Another 74 Olympian overtakes an Anderson tour Bova coach just before Oxford Street. The Olympian had been given the latest livery with the dark skirt.

NV175 (R375LGH) was one of the non Routemasters selected to be decorated for Her Majesty's Golden Jubilee in 2002. The Northern Counties bodied Olympian is seen heading for Roehampton on the 74.
When all services were converted to low floor London General retained several Olympians. Coach seated NV174 is seen again, this time on the special service operated from Heathrow Airport to the Farnborough Air Show in July 2004.

Coach seated NV187 (R387LGH) is seen working the 406F in June 2010, climbing the hill to Epsom Downs.
