LN15 (NPD115L) was shown at Brunelzebub 73, the community festival at Brunel University in January of that year. The gathering if buses at the event was the precursor of what was to become SHOWBUS. Showbus organiser, Martin Isles, is seen boarding the early production National, which was displayed alongside the first of a trio of Mark II VRs for Alder Valley, brought along by the late David Howard, then Assitant Operating Superintendent at Maidenhead depot. David is well known for running both Eastbourne and Isle of Man buses. The photo is courtesy of the Middlesex Advertiser.
