Former Stagecoach RMC1461 (461CLT) took part in Stagecoach's celebration of the last day of Routemaster operation in London by the company when route 8 was converted to Trident operation on June 4th 2004. RMC1461 is now with Cobham Bus Museum. Behind 1461 is an Arriva Citaro Artic on the 149 near Liverpool Street.

RMC1456 (LFF875) was also performing on the last day of route 8. It is still in the LT red livery which it wore when operating from Upton Park until withdrawal for preservation in August 2003.
