In Reigate, a stone's throw from London COuntry headquarters in Bell Street is RP5 (JPA105K) on the prestigious 727 linking Luton to Crawley via Heathrow and Gatwick. Another RP passes heading for Luton.

Inevitably as time wore on the semi-coaches became relegated to bus work. Some even were painted green with a white band: NBC bus livery. This is RP87 (JPA187K) seen on the 484 in Langley bound for Windsor via Slough.

St Albans was one of those border towns where Country Area buses met Central Area ones. So RP32 (JPA132K) on bus route 358 is seen with a red Merlin or Swift on St Albans Bus Garage forecourt, which like Windsor's acts as a small Bus Station.
