Green Line Green Line AEC Regent 3RT Weymann RT4494
RT4494 (OLD714) is pretending to be a Green Line RT, but is in normal country area livery but displaying Green Line blinds. In many ways this is authentic as normal service RT buses were frequently pressed into Green Line service, particularly on busy occasions when their extra seating capacity gave them an advantage over an RF. Interestingly RT4494 started life as a Green Line bus fitted with an overhauled Park Royal body from SRT92 before gaining its Weymann body in 1966. as a standard country area bus.
