Tram 2543 displays the 'standard' tram livery, which was also used on connecting bus services by First Orpington Buses in the area. The accompanying stations and publicity used a white/green scheme. Sadly most stations have already had their names defaced, the lettering used being far from vandal proof. It took a while to work out the the 'disco' station was in fact Addiscombe. |
Whilst 2543 is at Croydon West, 2553 is seen here at Wandle Park. The numbering follows sequentially from London's last tram, over half a century ago!

To the east lines 2 and 1 bifurcate. A westbound yellow tram on line 1 waits for a normal liveried tram on line 2 to feed on to the track in front of it for the journey to Croydon.
