Several unexpected Plaxton entries turned up on the day so to make room, a group of new Plaxton vehicles which arrived on the Gold Run were diverted to pride of place in front of the American Air Museum. Nearest the camera are Woottens three Plaxton coaches, which were accompanied by a well turned out variety of older vehicles from the fleet: a Bristol VR and RE and a Leyland Lynx and Titan. Several photos were taken from this vantage point on the top deck of a City Sightseeing Olympian. The high quality pictures can be seen by clicking below. The pictures were taken in a short space of time, but you might spot yourself in one! Picture 1    Picture 2     Picture 3    Picture 4     |
Winner of the top prize for a modern Plaxton coach at SHOWBUS was W100TEN, Woottens Volvo B12B with Plaxton Panther body. The coach was one of six exhibited at SHOWBUS last year which has subsequently been reregistered from YN06MXY. Woottens had set the blinds appropriately for the occasion featuring both the Plaxton Gold Run and SHOWBUS 2007. |
