First Eastern Counties 20119 was new as Thamesway 618 (N619APU). It looks resplendent in First's distinctive coach livery with excel branding. The Plaxton body is on a Volvo B10M chassis.

Two Plaxton Arriva coaches, but neither obviously in Arriva colours. On the left in Green Line livery is Shires & Essex 4049 (R449SKX) a DAF SB3000 and on the right from the New Enterprise coaching unit in Kent is identical 2905 (R905BKO).

When most people and buses have gone home, some entrants take the opportunity to pose for the photographers. York Pullman lined its trio of coaches up against the imposing backdrop of a BEA Trident (as opposed to the Dennis variety). They originally entered one of these Plaxton B10M coaches and the Duple Laser below, but we were very pleased to see this pair on the day.

The third member of the trio was a Duple Laser bodied B10M, 201 (EFD923Y), new to FHW of Willenhall. It was unable to display with the other two during the day, but joined the adjacent line up of Duple bodied buses and coaches. This was not altogether inappropriate as Plaxton took over Duple in 1989. The Laser was entered last year in the bland livery of K&J Logistics, but having adopted the York Pullman branding their coaches really stand out from the crowd as the picture shows.
