Plaxton Double Gold Run
The Gold Run parade heads off along the taxiway at Duxford to the far eastern end of the site. Sandwiched betwen two Supreme bodied Bristol LHSs from Independent of Leeds is a tiny 17 seat Bedford CFL with mini Supreme coachwork giving it a style so different from a typical Ford Transit.
The pictures on this page were taken by Charlie Nicholson.

Plaxton Double Gold Run
The CFL was entered by Richard Payne and is in the colours of Creswell Coaches.

Plaxton Double Gold Run
Nearest the camera now is an early Panorama design dating from 1960 on an AEC Reliance chassis. The coach was new to West Riding, but the coach is presented in the colours of East Yorkshire.

Plaxton Double Gold Run
Two coaches from the same batch of Plaxton Panorama Elite III Express Leyland Leopards of Barton Transport are preserved and both were at SHOWBUS, but only this one took part in the Gold Run and Parade.
