 The Parking Reception coach loaned by Motts Travel for the day took over from the police motorcycle escort the parade had from Trumpington. Whilst in recent years Motts had switched from Jonckheere to Plaxton for some of its purchases, the Parking Reception coach was a Jonckheere Mistral, R50MTT, the Volvo B10M was formerly R16CED more locally with Cedrics of Wivenhoe.  This Bristol LH with Panorama Elite coachwork was part of a special build batch with narrow 7ft 6in coachwork for use on coach trips across the narrow roads of Exmoor. The coach was ordered for the Devon General subsidiary, Greenslades which was subsumed into the National Travel South West coaching division as 326 (JFJ506N). |
