An unusual purchase for Devon General was a small batch of Albion Nimbus 31 seat Willowbrook bodied singledeckers in 1958. The type was only truly popular on Guernsey. Nimbus 839 (XTA839) is seen at the 2003 Eastbourne Centenary Rally.

Devon General AEC Regent V
Willowbrook bodied several Regent Vs for Devon General, but this 1966 one has MCW Orion bodywork. It too is preserved and 524 (EOD524D) is seen at the 2003 Cardiff Centenary Rally at the Brecon Mountain Railway, ready to take part in the Saturday run through the valleys to Cardiff.

Nine years later in 2012, 524 was captured again at the AEC Centenary Rally at Newark alongside AEC Reliances 9 (9RDV) and 23 (CTT23C). The picture was made into an A2 size commorative poster for the AEC Centenary display at SHOWBUS later in the year.

Another Willowbrook bodied AEC, this time a Reliance 6MU4R with 43 seat body. The picture of the preserved bus was sent into us.

Devon General Bristol LH ECW
Seen in Western Greyhound's yard in June 2005 is former Western National/Devon General 112 (KTT42P) a Bristol LH6L with 43 seat ECW body. The bus is presented in Devond General's post NBC livery, but the later reversed version with less red.
