Western Greyhound BEA Routemaster NMY648E
Hiding and resting in Western Greyhound's Summercourt depot is NMY648E, a former BEA AEC Routemaster. The bus was used for special occasions. It is seen in May 2005, just over a year since acquired out of preservation.

Western Greyhound opentop Bristol VR
By June 2005 former Alder Valley 979 (CJH119V) had lost its top and passed to Western Greyhound. It is seen stained with rain at the Summercourt depot, its place on the 500 scenic service having been taken by a closed top Olympian.

Combining the two pictures above we have a closed top Olympian - not on the 500 - with the registration from a Routemaster, WLT649, which once adorned London Transport's RM649. The Olympian, like the buses above is a secondhand acquisition, but it is not know wherefrom.

Whether or not Nottingham's Network livery inspired Western Greyhound's latest livery or not is unknown. Former Nottingham East Lancs bodied Volvo Olympian 476 (R476RRA) is seen in Exeter Bus Station in August 2013.
