This DAF DB250 Northern Counties Palatine II, 6210 (R210CKO) is part of a batch of vehicles which has had a checkered existence, new to London & Country as DFD010 it was later loaned to London United as DN10 in full LUB livery on route 85. It is here seen with Southern Counties in Bromley working out of Tunbrige Wells depot, with a Metrobus decker in the background adding to the local colour.

With the less attractive Palatine I body, Volvo Olympian 5907 (W907SKR) heads from Bromley on the same busy trunk service to Tunbridge Wells.

Arriva Kent Thameside Volvo Olympian & Dennis Dart
A Volvo Olympian and Dennis Dart, both with Northern Counties bodies, near Dartford Station in June 2007. The Olympian was new to Maidston & District as 5907 (K507SKR) whereas the Dart was new to Kentish Bus & Coach as 156 (L156YVK) - now 3156 - its Newcastle registration reflecting the then control of Proudmutual, the parent company of Northumbria.

Seen at the M&D Centenary Rally in April 2011 in a livery promoting public transport is what was probably the oldest bus in the fleet at the time, Northrn Counties bodied Leyland Olympian 5907 (K907SKR).
