Southampton was an early pioneer of gas powered buses, but on a Saturday most of the fleet, clearly deployed on University services, were to be found resting at Portswood depot. The silver Plaxton Pointer bodied Dart is thought to have been transferred from Bristol. The older vehicles have Marshall bodies. |
