New to South Wales operator Bebb this Plaxton bodied Volvo B10M only needed two letters changed in the fleetname to become part of the Bells Coaches fleet! The Bells fleet was based at Winterslow, near Salisbury and the livery on V37KWO was, as seen, cream with green and silver contrast with the actual bells as a logo. The coach is seen in August 2013 shortly before sale to York Pullman. Picture ref A158 |

The coach company, including its rural bus services, were taken over by Wilts & Dorset in 1999 after 78 years of independent operation. After the Go-Ahead takeover the two tone blue livery was adopted across the various coaching subsidiaries and with that established further rationalisation has seen the Bells name quietly dropped. This Irizar Century bodied Scania K114EB, 7177 (YN04GHH), is seen in the Victoria Coach Station Annex in May 2012 with a stylish Bells fleetname. By September it appeared at SHOWBUS, bereft of fleetnames but under the guise of Tourist Coaches, it had been new to Clarkes of London. |

The coach, 7088 (NJ53AAF), is seen again on display in the grounds later in the day. The coach never knew the original Lever's livery as it was new in National Express white for Go-Ahead Northern where it was also numbered 7088, but registered 524FUP. It later passed to Alpine Coaches of Llandudno. |
