This magnificent machine is one of Mike Sutcliffe's collection of exquisite restorations. The Leyland Lion belonged to White Rose of Rhyl, one of the forerunners of Croville Motor Servies.

The Lion, DM2583, was a star attraction at The Golden Jubilee Showbus and arrived at the event by lowloader.

Amazingly a second vintage Leyland from the White Rose fleet survives, DM6228, a Burlingham bodied Lioness charabanc seen here on Marine Parade in Brighton on the occasion of the 2007 London to Brighton HCVC run.
