One of the last VRTSL3 delivered to East Midlands, 224 (KKY224W) sold out of service in 2000 for use on school contracts by Robinson's of Stewkley. The bus is seen leaving the Grange School Coach Park in Aylesbury, which serves as a Bus Station for the huge transport operation associated with the three grammar schools in the town - as well as the Grange School itself. Robinsons had four of the original batch of twelve delivered to East Midlands in 1981, they scrapped them all in 2000 or 2001.

The Derbyshire Vehicle Preservation Alliance brought along this 1985 Leyland Tiger/Alexander P, once East Midland Motor Services 632 (B632DWF). It will be good to see this bus restored to EM livery in due course. It is seen here arriving at Showbus in 2008 and it also did a turn on Duxford Village tours. |

At SHOWBUS 2009 Nu-Venture brought along this vehicle which originated in Stagecoach's East Midland subsidiary as their 350 (J350XET). The bus was new with dual purpose seating. Alongside is another similar vehicle from CIE's Dublin Bus fleet. |

East Midland Leyland Olympian Alexander 360 (K360DWJ) appeared at North Weald in 2009 in the service of Cedric's of Wivenhoe.

In Auckland in April 2000 were some good old Bristol VR buses, including some transferred from UK Stagecoach fleets in a somewhat crazy livery and used on Auckland downtown tours - here is Stagecoach Auckland 125 (XL1789). The bus was new as East Midland 216 (KWA216W) and saw service with A1 services and Bluebird in Scotland before arriving in New Zealand in 1997.
