In 1970 Leicester invested in a batch of twenty ECW bodied Bristol RELL6L buses, 116-135 (TRY116-135H), here is one of them around ten years old and about to be retired.

The Bristols were replaced by doubledeck Dominators, the demand for singledeckers in the fleet had gone, but a handful of Dennis Falcons with Duple Dominant bus bodies started with this bus, 90 (PJU90W). Only Leicester had Falcons with Duple bus bodies.

Leicester maintained a small coach fleet with a white based livery. Seen in the city, this Duple Dominant bodied Ford R1114, 10 (KAY10N), was due to be replaced by another Duple Dominant, also numbered 10, Leyland Leopard OUT10W.

Leaving SHOWBUS, probably in 1977, is Willowbrook bodied Leopard 15 (PJF15R) battling the queue to get out of the Hillingdon Showground, one of the factors that resulted in SHOWBUS finding a new venue.
