Further Tridents were added to the Brookes fleet for the 2004/2005 academic year. Whilst dedicated vehicles were awaited new Stagecoach Manchester Tridents in full Stagecoach livery were used. Here is one of the awaited buses, 18195 (KN54ZXR) approaching Headington roundabout from Wheatley, as can be seen they differ from earlier deliveries by having Alexander ALX400 bodies.

Sister Trident 18196 (KN54ZXL) is seen in service in Headington in the summer of 2007 before the end of term. Some of Brookes Tridents get to spend their summer down in Devon once the students have left the city they go to their fellow Stagecoach subsidiary to help shift the holiday maker queues. |
