PMT's first minibuses, like so many operators, were based on the Ford Transit. Unlike other operators though, PMT built many of their own bodies as on 161 (C161VRE) seen at SHOWBUS international 2002 sandwiched between a Postbus and a VW in mock Black & White Motorways livery. |
PMT's fleet was dominated by minibuses, many of which were Mercedes. Seen at Hanley are MMM575 & 590 (N575CEH & N590CEH), 1995 Plaxton Beaver bodied 709D buses alongside a newer Vario O814D/Plaxton Beaver 2 from a 1998 batch of a dozen.

PMT's own Ami coachwork tops this Mercedes 811D, IMM366 (H366LFA). For a time PMT supplied other operators with its bodies as well as satisfying its own needs.

Alongside First liveried Scania L113CRL 814 (S814AEH) is one of the dozen 1998 Varios, 262 (S262AFA), which bears the standard fleet livery applied to non-low floor vehicles.

One of several PMT buses at SHOWBUS 2004 was this Ford Transit with "mini link" branding, 161 (C161VRE) departing with a Southern Vectis Northern Counties bodied Volvo Olympian with new "Route Rouge" branding, 751 (M751HDL). |
