One of the last batch of Excels to be delivered was 295 (S295RAG). This vehicle carries small and almost insignificant branding down the side for the Hull Park & Ride service which it operates.

The standard highfloor singledecker in the East Yorkshire fleet was another Optare product, but this time
the Mercedes based Optare Prisma. Also seen in Hull on layover is just such a bus, 268 (N268KAG).

A number of Mercedes-Benz O814 Varios were in service with East Yorkshire. They all carried the Plaxton Beaver 2 body and one of the batch is seen here setting down at Hull bus station in May 2001.

A supposedly withdrawn Mercedes-Benz 709D with Reebur Beaver 442 (F442GAT) was still lurking around the Anlaby Road depot in late May 2001.

Now a driver trainer in the East Yorkshire fleet is this former Bristol Omnibus Bristol LH registered AFB586V which was new as Bristol Omnibus 455. Other driver trainers at the time were Leyland Nationals.
