 New to First Mainline in June 2001 was this Wright bodied Volvo B7L, 900 (Y900FML). It is seen at SHOWBUS 2001 alongside a bus with a London connection: First Southampton's 152 (Y152ROT) had been numbered AV2 earlier in the year when on loan to First London for experimental use on the 207 from Shepherds Bush to Uxbridge. |
 Strong London connections for this Volvo Olympian fresh out of service in the capital. This was VN903 (T903KLF), now 34103 in First's national fleet numbering scheme. It was one of the last step entrance doubledeckers in London service and, still dual door, passed to South yorkshire for further service. It is seen here arriving at SHOWBUS 2005. |
