There's the Queens' flight, the Royal carriage, the Royal Rolls Royce, the Royal Yacht, the Royal Train and now the Royal Tram. Yarra Trams Z-class car 158 was specially painted and prepared to transport Her Majesty the Queen from a walkabout at Federation Square to Government House on the occasion of her visit to Melbourne on Wednesday this week. The tram is seen here at the Domain where Her Majesty completed her journey to Government House by Range Rover. The tram's destination reads "Royal Tram" and the route number was set at "ER". Oddly one of the more charismatic W-class trams was not used instead.
