Surrounded by National Welsh ECW bodied Bristols is another Bristol of Coity Motors, ATG459H. It is a rare LHL6L model, most being the LH or shrter LHS. Plaxton Derwent bodywork made a change from the more usual ECW bodies on the LH chassis. The picture was probably taken in the seventies and the quality is not the best as it is a scan of a 35mm colour slide. Having scanned some old slides to illustrate the article on the 90th anniversary of Red Rover in this year's SHOWBUS brochure, the scanner was set up and over a thousand slides from the seventies and eighties have been scanned. They will appear on the website over the coming years and we start with five added to the already prepared update to the Newport Transport gallery now online.
