 Probably the last of the line, this ex Adelaide Volvo B59 with PMCSA body was one of many in the fleet of Queensland's Mt Gravatt Bus Lines with a delightful collection of names: "Trigger", "Sven", "Silver", "Pearl", "Maud", "Freda", "Bjorn", "Benny" and "Anna". This one was unidentifable and clearly prepped for disposal in August 2009 and there was no sign of any others. | |||||||
 In Koala Koaches Burleigh Heads depot was former Adelaide AEC Swift 765 labelled as a "Party Bus". The bus was believed to be owned by the proprietors of Koala and had been in their fleet as 15 (221CRT). It subsequently passed to Coolum Coaches in Queensland. |

 A cheery wave from the driver of former 1274 now registered 1CFG851 in WA is believed to be the only Volvo B59 to have made it to Western Australia. The bus had been converted to a mobile diagnostic unit and is seen in Bunbury around Easter 2005. The "OVERSIZE" sign is a reminder that these South Australian buses were built wider than normally permitted at the time at 2.5 metre. |

Another B59 without any operator markings was 361EDD known unaffectionately as "The Sows Ear" with Stagecoach with whom it is thought to have been when photographed around 1990. More appropriately it was 1008 (VTS737) or 1030 (VUZ142) when in Adelaide with Serco and, like 1149, passed to Buslink in Queensland.
