Wide Bay Transit has had a sizeable fleet of Leylands, many with interesting histories. This Custom bodied Tiger was new to North & Western in Sydney as MO613 in 1984 and passed into the Sydney Buses fleet as 3580 (MO7872) when N&W was acquired by the state. It joined Wide Bay as 87 (213GJM) with the Bay Bus & Coach business but has since been withdrawn. |

Also new to North & Western, this 1986 PMC bodied Tiger, 56 (070GGE), came from Crossley Bus Lines via a spell as Sydney Buses 3584 (MO1031). |

Another North & Western then Sydney 3555 (MO3555) was this PMC Metro 90 bodied Volvo B10M which ended up with Busabout in Wogga Wogga with rego 3991MO. It is seen at their depot in April 2014. |

Nose in at the Richmond garage of Peugeot repair specialist Universe Motors in Melbourne is former Sydney Clyde bodied Albion Venturer SPCX19W 1968 (MO1968). The bus left Sydney for Toronto Bus Service in 1968 with new rego MO4388, leaving them in 1975 and eventually ending up with Universe Motors in 1998. Presumably it was used for promotional work, but quite when it lost its roof is not known. |

With a struggle a front view was just about possible. The bus sports historic rego CH0736 and was photographed in Richmond in March 2013, but has not been seen since. The company has another facility at Hawthorn where it might be lurking if not disposed.
