Run by Thamesdown on the Dartline service, 120 (XMW120) also carries the name of North Star and shows the increasingly popular practice of giving new buses non-dating registration numbers. Displaying route X53 to Cricklade Purton on its digital route blinds, this Plaxton Pointer is typical of the vehicles in this modern fleet.

The Guy Utility bus has a special association with Swindon and our model features the twin of the first production Guy Utility vehicle. 48 (CWV375) remained in service until 1962 and, featured in its latter life, it is on route to Stratton X Road with adverts for Arkells Beer and Vernons Pools.
