Durham Region Transit NovaBus LFS 8327
Durham Region Transit was an amalgam of several smaller city opeators in 2006: Ajax/Pickering Transit, Whitby Transit, Oshawa Transit, and Clarington Transit. By August 2007 the new identity was firmly established former Whitby Novabus LFS 8327 of 2004 has lost the blue and yellow trim of Whitby, if indeed if ever carried it. The "Mid Day Short Turn" is a quirky destination, perhaps the passenger is seeking clarification!
 

 
Durham Region Transit New Flyer D40LF 8413
Delivered to the new outfit in 2006 was this New Flyer D40LF, 8413, seen in 2007 with another of the batch at Whitby GO Station.
 

 
Durham Region Transit Orion V 8312
The only bus seen still in Whitby Transit colours was 8312, an Orion V, the first of four new in 1990 as 9011.
 
 
Durham Region Transit Orion V 8318
Orion V 8318 was a solitary delivery in 1994 as 9418, the first two digits of Whitby's numbering scheme clearly denoting the year of delivery. The bus is at the Whtby GO Station in August 2007.

Leaving the GO Station is a NovaBus LFS curiously numbered 426.
