On the Saturday of the event, the entrants paraded from the Speyer Technik Museum, through the town centre then on to Sinsheim. The two RELHs from Merseyside were amongst the last vehicles through the town. They paused and posed side by side by the main commentary point and were greeted by great applause from the assembled spectators, many enjoying the spectacle from the kerbside cafes.
