Our first glimpse of the French BlaBlaCar was at Geneva Airport in Switzerland. The MAN Lion's Coach was seen departing the airport in August 2019. Following the deregulation of the express coach market in Europe several companies appeared to compete with Eurolines and the rail network. BlaBlaCar was founded in France and absorbed SNCF's Ouibus network. The company is still surviving alongside the all conquering Flixbus which has seen off both National Express and Megabus incursions into the European market.
