 The Geldersche Tramvegen Leyland Worldmaster attracted a lot of attention as did the Dutch Leyland National alongside.

 The Hague Bus Museum's 1975 Leyland National was Westnederland 3114 (27-69-GB). Whether the GB in the registration was a coincidence or deliberate is not known. It was one of a batch of 25 Nationals imported for trials with various Dutch operators. To eliminate glare, the normal curved windscreen was replaced with a 6 piece flat screen in 1976 by CAB of Utrecht. The National was found to require a lot of maintenance and also prone to slipping due its small wheels so no more were imported. With only 30,000km on the clock 3114 was purchased from Westnederland by the museum in 1984, and restored by 1999.
