The Waiheke Bus Company operates on the tiny island of Waiheke which is about 30 minutes from Auckland Harbour by Fuller's ferry. The island bus services are geared around the ferry times, particularly as the island harbour is a fair walk from the first settlement, Oneroa. The buses used to bear Fuller's livery, and Fuller's is owned by Souter Holdings. Brian Souter owning Stagecoach, but the Fuller red, blue and yellow stripes did not get to be replaced by Stagecoach stripes. Stagecoach and Souter Holdings have divested themeselves of most of their New Zealand investments, Fullers ferries and the island buses were all that remained in 2020.

The main bus route operates along the northern side of the island and the mainstay of the bus fleet in April 2000 were dual-door bodied Bedfords. One can be seen making the steep climb up from Palm Cove, which is a double-run on the route.

Bedford 18 passes one of the few private coaches on the island, an ageing air-conditioned Hino. The Bedford VAM75 seems unsure of its destination, displaying bith Onetangi and Palm Beach, it is actually at the Harbour.
