 Fifty hybrid VDL Phileas were due for delivery in 2008, but the few that were seen were all laid up at the depot and appeared to have been there some time. On the Saturday when they were photographed their capacity was sorely needed on the Metrobus route with every bus seemingly fully loaded. Doubtless when the teething problems are sorted out and all fifty buses are available, the standard Citaros will be relieved of front line duty.
