First Beeline Heathrow Dennis Dart Plaxton Pointer
Think of First Beeline Heathrow services and your mind might first go to the high profile Railair link from Reading or the pioneering Citaro and Volvo hybrid services focussed on Slough and supported by the British Airports Authority's Fastflow Heathrow scheme. Less well known was the Windsor - Datchet - Heathrow service, sponsored by the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead and in the colours used by the Borough. Plaxton Pointer bodied Dart SLF 217 (N217NRD) is seen in Slough Bus Station in April 2003 in that livery, though in use on the 74 to Wycombe.

Dart 217 is seen again in this Dart line up in Slough depot two years later. It has been renumbered DP42417. Despite branding for the Windsor service its blinds suggest last use on Windsor Town Service 50A.

This MPD Dart, bought for the Heathrow services, is seen at the airport on the 50B in January 2002. The blind oddly suggests routing via Slough. The Dart is 235 (W935JNF).
