Carousel DAF54 (CB54BUS) was a VDL SB120 with Wright Cadet bodywork which was bought new for a contract centred on Princes Risborough Railway Station. The bus met commuter trains in the morning and evening peaks. It is seen here in 2006 on a school contract in the Wycombe area.

On a Saturday the Risborough commuter connection did not operate so CB54BUS is seen working the 400 at Handy Cross Sports Centre in High Wycombe.

An unusual working for the unique VDL was a foray on to the A40. It is seen loading at the Heathrow Central Bus Station in April 2011. With only thirty seats and a larger than usual number of passengers and luggage at Heathrow, the little bus was struggling when it left Uxbridge around 20 minutes later.

Whilst the sun was shining at Heathrow, the previous year DAF54 was also on the interworked 740/A40 services to Uxbridge and Heathrow. It is gingerly picking its way through the February snow as it enters Wycombe Bus Station.
