 Look carefully at this Bristol Lodekka arriving at SHOWBUS 2010. It is a unique experimental extra long Bristol LD Lodekka, designated an LDL6G with chassis number LDLX004. Built in 1958 it followed a batch of six thirty feet long LDL Lodekkas delivered to Thames Valley, Hants & Dorset, Bristol Omnibus, Western National (2) and Notts & Derby the year before. It was the precursor to the flat floor Lodekka FL model. |
 The bus, 1541 (236LNO), is seen on display at SHOWBUS in 2008. |
 Earlier that year it was at North Weald. |
 Arriving at the last Duxford SHOWBUS in 2014 was early LD5G 2408 (XVX19), besides the long radiator, a style dubbed apron front, the other obvious early feature is the arched lower edge of the cab offside windows.
