Many were puzzled by the appearance of this bus at
Millennium Showbus. FirstGroup had not been acquiring Olympians secondhand from Go-Ahead.
The bus belongs to the now defunct company called Phoenix, set up specifically to operate home to school transport
for the Essex Grammar Schools. First supply the engineering back up and it is thought the crews.
JTY371X used to be Northern General 3611, now Phoenix 5001.

Originally Eastern National 3115, VR XHK220X passed to Thamesway when the company was split in 1990 and then headed to the West Country and fellow badgerline fleet, Western National as their 1250 in 1992. The bus became 38920 in the First renumbering and in 2004 passed to Restormel Council for their Street Safe initiative. It is seen in the Newquay First WN depot yard at Newquay in June 2005. It has seen two liveries with Restormel Council, three with WN, one with Thamesway and two the ENOC, having started in NBC green.
